A little bit about us

It all started with a need

As parents of a toddler, we were always on the lookout for clothes that were not only stylish and high-quality but also ethically made. We wanted to ensure that the clothes we put on our babies’ delicate skin were free from harmful chemicals and made by people who were paid fairly for their work.

Disappointed with the lack of options, we set out to create a brand that would offer parents like us the best of both worlds: beautiful, high-quality children’s clothes with an ethical and transparent background.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been invested in finding the best natural fibers and dyes, and connecting with skilled artisans who could create beautiful fabrics to be made into toddler clothes. Since day one, our determination has been to create a brand that parents could trust and feel good about supporting.

Our Guiding Ethos

  • No Secrets, Full Transparency

    Honest Clothes

Committing to transparency allows us to hold ourselves accountable and continuously improve our practices. We may not have all the answers and are aware that there will always be room for improvement. We truly believe that by being transparent about our supply chain, production processes, and labor practices, we can build the trust with our customers that will guide us through this journey.

  • Conscience Over All

    Unique, Slow Clothes

Our own needs led us to want to create options to dress our little ones with stylish outfits without compromising on quality or ethics. Embracing imperfections is part of that, and it is a reflection of the beauty of the handmade process. These small variations and imperfections add character and make each piece truly unique. By celebrating the artistry that goes into creating each garment we make sure to appreciate the value and support artisans who pour their hearts and souls into their craft.

  • Honoring Tradition

    Culturally Sensitive Clothes

More than committing to honoring and preserving Guatemalan Indigenous textile traditions, we believe that these have a place in higher fashion. We work closely with artisans who have been creating these textiles for generations, to create modern, stylish clothing that incorporates these time-honored techniques. We understand that by supporting these people and their heritage, we're aiding in keeping their stories alive for future generations while creating something truly special for little ones to wear.

Made with care by indigenous-led cooperatives in Guatemala.

Our mission is to design and create unique pieces that not only look and feel good but are also a reflection of a conscious production process.
